Hector G. Peña

Hector G. Peña, age 71, passed away November 26, 2014. Hector was employed at the City of Corpus Christi in the Solid Waste Department for 34 years. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Medardo "Mel" and Jose Peña; and sister, Blanca Peña. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gloria Allen-Peña; daughter, Mary Diane Peña; sons: Hector, Jr., Reymundo "Rey" Allen (Glenda), and Roland (Mary) Peña; sister, Alicia Peña; brothers: Pedro, Jr., Luciano, Jose Angel, Baldemar, and Rudy Peña; 11 granchildren; and four great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port, on Sunday, November 30, 2014, from 3 to 9 pm; with a prayer service to begin at 6 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated in the St. Jude Chapel at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church on Monday, December 1, 2014, at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
