Helen C. Rico

Helen C. Rico, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011. She is preceded in death by her special niece, Virginia Hernandez; nephew, Julio Hernandez III; brothers, David Rico, Tony Rico, Pedro Esparza, Robert Esparza; sisters, Beatrice Mayorga, Virginia Vasquez; and special niece, Hope Esparza. She leaves behind her very special friend for 30 years, Esther Garcia. A special thanks to Edward (Patsy) Garcia, Peter (Angie) Esparza, Richard (Jessica) Perales, Stephanie Lopez, Erica Vela, Lucas Reyna, and Jackie Hernandez. The family would also like to thank all of the nursing staff at Alameda Oaks Nursing Home who took excellent care of her during her final days. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Port @ Niagara from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. that same evening. Cremation will follow.
