Herlinda Fuentes Blanco

Herlinda Fuentes Blanco, age 82, passed away with her family by her side on April 11, 2015. She was born on October 23, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas to her late parents, Santos and Juanita Fuentes. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jose Blanco, Sr.; son, Ernesto Blanco, Sr.; daughter, Juanita Soto; two new born daughters; father-in-law, Vicente Blanco; mother-in-law, Julia Presa Blanco; son-in-law, Roger Davila, Jr.; and grandson, Roger Davila, III. Herlinda leaves behind her loving children; Santiago (Cynthia Blanco), Maria Blanco, Jose (Pat) Blanco, Jr., Linda Davila, Jesse (Rachel) Blanco Jr., Lupe (Terry) Pearce, Gloria (Carlos) Hernandez, Rosita Blanco, Rosalinda (Paul) Rivera, Francisco Blanco, Gabriel Blanco, Isabel Rocha (David Gonzalez), Martin (Diana) Blanco; sister-in- law, Carmen Blanco; son-in-law, Ignacio Soto, Jr.; 42 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, April 14, 2015, from 3 to 9 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., Alice, TX; with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7 PM that evening. On Wednesday, April 15, 2015, a funeral procession will depart Trevino Funeral Home Alice at 10 AM for an 11 AM Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mathis TX. Burial will follow at Descanso Eterno II in Mathis,TX.
