Herlinda Rodriguez Valent

Herlinda Rodriguez Valent of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 55. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Yvonne Lee Villanueva.

Herlinda enjoyed gardening, singing, dancing, and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left behind to cherish Herlinda’s memories are her husband, Roy Valent; daughter, Lynette Valent (Adrian Rios Vela); sons, Roy Valent, Jr., and Arnold Ray Valent; five brothers, Jessie Rodriguez (Betsy), Richard Rodriguez (Debbie), Israel Rodriguez, and Michael Rodriguez (Michelle); parents, Israel Rodriguez (Janie) and Guadalupe Rodriguez (Alonzo); 12 grandchildren, Adrian Rios Vela Jr., Aiden Rios Vela, Andrew Rios Vela, Alina Vela, Adalynn Vela, Lillyanna Channel Valent, King Arnold Valent, Prince Royce, Royal Tee Valent, Majesty Leilani-Lynn Valent, Laila Rae Trevino, Israel Ray Trevino, and Ian M.J. Trevino; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, June24, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary and Liturgy of the Word to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that same evening.
