Lalo's education began in the Alice Independent School District and continued through his senior year at Alice High School. Following his education, he worked in the oilfield, where he was known for his dedication and hard work. Lalo was a man of many talents and interests. He was skillful and resourceful, with a knack for fixing anything that was broken. His wonderful sense of humor made him a natural comedian, and he loved family and friends’ gatherings, where he would often be found barbecuing and sharing laughter with those around him. He also enjoyed traveling, playing slot machines, and drinking a Budweiser.

Above all, Lalo was a man of deep faith. He frequently quoted Bible scriptures and lived his life according to the teachings of the Holy Book. His faith-filled approach to life was an inspiration to those who knew him and a testament to his character.

Lalo's greatest joy was spending quality time with his children, nieces, and nephews. He was a loving and devoted father, uncle, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
