Ignacio Zaragosa Trejo

Ignacio Zaragosa Trejo, Jr. passed away on December 13, 2019 at the age of 65.  He served his country in the United States Army.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ignacio Zaragosa, Sr.; stepson, Ricardo Couch; stepdaughter, Valrie Alaine Walton; brother, Homero L. Trejo; niece, Malarie A. Martinez-Salazar; and sister-in-law, Leticia Trejo.

Ignacio is survived by his wife, Mona Lisa Trejo; mother, Natalia L. Trejo; stepdaughter, Kissimmee Harvey (Kevares Harvey, Sr.); stepson, Demetrius Bussey; four stepgrandchildren,; siblings, Roland Trejo, Diana (Frank) Garza, Yolanda (Estaneslado) Rosas, Viola (Dennis) Fonseca, Roel (Cynthia) Trejo, Evangelina (Lupe) Sanchez, and Ruben Trejo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, with a holy rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM.  A Chapel Service will take place on Monday, January 6, 2020, at 9:30 AM at Treviño Funeral Home.  A Funeral cortege will depart at 10:30 AM to Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery for Rite of Committal and Interment with full military honors at 11:00 AM.
