Inez Lopez

Inez Lopez passed away on September 1, 2020 at the age of 78.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She will be missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Raul Valencia and Ramon Valencia; parents, Severo and Margarita Garza; brothers, Margarito, Antonio, and Lupe Garza; and sister, Cristanta Garza.

Inez is survived by her husband, Leonardo Lopez; children, Frutoso Valencia (Sylvia), Sylvia Lee, Elvia Valencia, Irene Valencia (Mike Aparicio), Esperanza Fonseca (Jeff), and Mark Valencia; 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren; brothers, Juan Garza (Delia) and Jesus Garza; sisters, Carmen Rivera and Juanita Garza; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, September 4, 2020, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.  A chapel service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
