Inez "Shorte" Carrizales

Inez “Shorte” Carrizales passed away on February 17, 2021 at the age of 73.  He was a fun-loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He loved playing pool, reading, and listening to music while relaxing on the beach.  Shorte was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Quintina Carrizales; and siblings, Maria (Raul) Martinez, Guillerma (Alfredo) Rodriguez, Dominga (Michael)  Martinez, and Manuel (Eloisa) Carrizales. Shorte is survived by his children, Armando Cabrera, Patricia Saiz, Monica (Frankie) Rocha, and Inez David Carrizales; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Cira (Fidel) Villarreal, Dolores (David) Carpentier, MaryLou (Manuel) Villarreal, Julie (Allen) Maurer, Jesus Carrizales Jr, and Joe (Diana) Carrizales; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave, from 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM; with a Memorial Rosary to be recited  at 6:00 PM.  Services will conclude that evening. Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be observed while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
