Irene J. Naranjo

Irene J. Naranjo passed away on May 28, 2021 at the age of 86.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Irene enjoyed spending her time with family, cooking, listening to music, shopping, and traveling.  She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Genoveva Jimenez; siblings, Emma Jimenez Lozano, Henry Jimenez, Julian Jimenez, Estella "Stella" Jimenez, Ruby Jimenez Pantoja, and Jimmy Jimenez.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert “Bobby” Naranjo; granddaughter, Delilah Naranjo; great-grandchildren, Kimberly Diane Salinas, Victoria Kaleen Salinas, and Victor Salinas; great-great-grandchildren, Eli Rodriguez and Marilyn Rodriguez; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, June 7, 2021, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.  A Funeral cortege will depart the funeral chapel at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.  Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Honoring Irene as pallbearers will be Lazaro Magana, Edward Olguin, Victor Salinas, Danny Newman, Michael Lozano, Jimmy Lee Jimenez, Jaime Rodriguez, Mark Pantoja, and Eli Rodriguez.
