Isaac Salas, Sr.

Isaac Salas, Sr., age 83, was called by his heavenly father, on March 1, 2016. Isaac had unconditional love for his family; and was a wonderful father. He was known for his Western wear, and his passion for spending time with his friends. He served his country in the US Airforce and retired after 35 years of dedicated service to the City of Corpus Christi. He will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eustolia Salas; son, Samson Salas, Sr.; grandchildren: Sarah, Amber, Jason, Jeremiah, and Matthew. Isaac leaves behind his loving children: Ruth (Randy) Snyder, Norma (Danny) Roark, Mary (David) Potter, Annette (Henry) Del Llano, Isaac (Chris) Salas, Jr., Noe Salas, Sr., Gilbert Salas, Arnold J. (Christina) Salas, Sr., John Adam Salas, Mark (Sandy) Salas, Robert Salas; sister, Otilia Vega, Andrea Ortegon; grandchildren, Isaac III, Denise, Michael Ray, Thomas, Michael, Lindsay, Rachel, Noe, Jr., Janelle, Bonnie, Gilbert, Jr., Orlando, Julian, Gabriel, Arnold, Jr., Louie, Samson, Jr., Andrew, Samantha, Stephen, Jolene, Dustin Jay, Marlena, David, Jr., John Henry, Justin Henry; great-grandchildren: Victoria, Sara, Micaela, Madison, Mia, William, Michael, Jr., Ian, Aiden, Nathaniel, Danelle, Jesselyn, Natalia, Noe, III, Elliana, Gabriel Isaiah, Isaiah Joseph, Channing, Athena, Trinity, Devin Jay, Joel Matthew, Javier Samuel, Roman Santiago, Samson Ariel, River Caleb; numerous nephews, and nieces. The pallbearers will be his sons. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port from 6 pm to 9 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 5, 2016. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
