Jake Anthony Getz Herrera

Jake Anthony Getz Herrera passed away on November 24, 2018, at the young age of 20. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, and friend. Jake enjoyed riding his motorcycle; he was a handy-guy with a big personality and was a dedicated employee of Third Coast Foam. He will be dearly missed by all whom knew him and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Jessica Anne Getz (Emilio Ortega); sisters, Jessalyn Getz-Ortega and Jileena Getz-Ortega; brothers, Jonathan Lee Herrera and Jared Getz-Herrera; maternal grandmother, Lisa Getz; maternal great-grandmother, Connie (Robert) Tamez; maternal great-grandfather, Willard Getz; aunt, Mary Schmehl; and uncle, Mark Ybarra.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Treviño Funeral Home. Rite of Committal and Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
