James (Jim) Walter Lindholm passed away at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 21, 2021 at the age of 73. He was born on November 25, 1947 in Camden, New Jersey to Walter Raymond Lindholm (June 20, 1973†) and Ruby Inez Davis Lindholm (December 1, 2009†). James attended Audubon High School. Upon graduating, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served three tours in Vietnam as an Aircraft Mechanic, but was sometimes called upon to be a Door Gunner. He was very quiet and humble about his time in Vietnam. James was also very proud to know that his legacy continued when two of his grandsons joined the Marine Corps and are currently serving our country. Throughout his life, he had several careers before retiring from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
James has been rejoined with his service dog and constant companion, Razcal.
Left behind to cherish James’ memory are his three daughters, Tami Lindholm, Kimberlee Lindholm Stewart (Tony), and Candi Lindholm Repka (Martin); six grandchildren, Avery, Ethan, Kyly, Ryan, Devyn, and Ayden; two great-grandchildren; and his beloved pet, Magic.
Interment with full military honors will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please send donations in his honor to the Semper Fi Fund or Coastal Bend Small Breed Rescue in Corpus Christi, Texas.
