James Moore

James Moore passed away on June 27, 2018 at the age of 53. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He proudly served the country in the U.S. Navy and retired after 24 years of service. James will be dearly missed by all whom knew him and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arturo P. Moore; maternal grandparents, Rodrigo and Antonia Estrada; and paternal grandparents, Charles Miles and Faviana P. Moore.

James is survived by his children, David Gonzalez, James Arthur Moore, Daisy Rose (Jose Luis) Arambula, Jayme Lee Moore, Anthony Xavier Moore, and Madelyn Marie Moore; mother, Elvira P. Moore; siblings, Arturo P. (Rocio) Moore, Jr., Robert Paul (Amelia) Moore, and Dianne Moore; two grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port. A prayer service will be held at 10:30 AM, officiated by Pastor Kenny Eiben. The funeral cortege will depart the funeral home chapel at 12:30 PM for a Rite of Committal and Interment with military honors to take place at 1:00 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
