James A. Muldrow

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Arnold Muldrow, age 89, of Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on March 18, 2025.

James was a beloved husband and father, who had a special love for all things Texas and sports. He had a vast knowledge of Texas history which he loved to share with others and enjoyed watching sports, especially football, basketball, and baseball. He would often use his passion for sports to connect with people and always pulled for the Texas team.

Daddy had a beautiful soul; genuinely kind and compassionate, coupled with strong family values. His legacy lives on through those he is survived by his two loving daughters, Debra (Danny) Roberts and Diana (Jeff) Gross; and his three beloved grandchildren Caleb, Caitlyn and Addison. Your love and amazing sense of humor will live on inside us forever. Goodbye Daddy. You will always live on in our hearts.

James is preceded in death by his wife, Hortencia Muldrow; his father, Arnold Muldrow; his mother, Arretta Lewis Hagelstein; and his two sisters, Doris Muldrow Norfleet and Barbara Muldrow Tyler.

A Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held on April 3, 2025, at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
