Jason C Hernandez, 37, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 28, 2017, surrounded by his family. Jason was a wonderful and loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He always had a smile for everyone he met and will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all those who knew and loved him.
Jason enjoyed spending his time with his children, playing dominoes, fishing, camping and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. He managed the family business, Orange Creations, for over 20 years where he greeted each customer with his great smile and friendly demeanor; he will be missed by all patrons and tenants of the Sunrise Mall.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest B. Hernandez; maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
Jason is survived by his loving children, Zoei Marie and Jayson Lucas Hernandez; mother of his children, April Reyna; mother, Beatrice (Jose) Salazar; sister, Patricia (Ernest) Zapata; nephew, Zakry Zapata; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; with a memorial prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m.
