Javier Martinez

Javier Martinez passed away on August 21, 2019 at the age of 40. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jesusa Caballero; dad, Francisco Martinez; maternal grandparents, Severo and Victoria Jasso; and cousins, Leroy Jasso and Juan Chavira.

Javier is survived by his wife, Christina Garcia Martinez; children, Javier Antonio Martinez, Jesus Alejandro Martinez, and Mariyha Christine Martinez; sister, Amelia (Guillermo) Davalos; step-dad, Antonio Caballero; nieces, Monica Sotelo and Angelica Caballero; nephews, Ilario, Jose Manuel, and Gavino Caballero; 14 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of extended family.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave.; with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Treviño Funeral Home. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
