Jesus Cardenas Iii

Jesus “Chuy” Cardendas III was born on October 16, 1956 to Jesus and Magdalena Cardenas Jr. in Laredo, TX. He passed away July 14, 2017 at the age of 60 surrounded by his family. Jesus was a lifelong resident of Alice, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Cardenas Jr.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his family: mother, Magdalena Cardenas; mother of his children, San Juanita Cardenas; brothers, Raul Cardenas of Alice, Luis Cardenas of Alice; sisters, Gloria (Paul) Longoria of Alice, Susanna (Danny) Cervantes of Austin, Irma (Guillermo) Pena of Ben Bolt; sons, Jesus Cardenas IV of Alice, Jose Luis (Joel) Cardenas of Oak Harbor, Washington, Hector Cardenas of Calallen, Adrian (Beatriz) Cardenas of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Miranda Cardenas, Jesse Cardenas, Xavier Cardenas, MJ Cardenas, Anaya Cardenas, Adrian Cardenas Jr., and Ariel Cardenas.

Serving as Pallbearers, Jesus Cardenas IV, Jessie Cardenas, Marcos Garza, Willie Pena, Chale Pena, and Rolando Pena.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., from 9 to 11 in the morning; where a Rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m.

Funeral cortege will depart from Trevino Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017, to Old Collins Cemetery where Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m.
