Jesus Maria Gonzalez

Jesus Maria Gonzalez, better known as “Chuy”, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. He was born in Alice, Texas on November 18, 1936, to his parents, Juan and Julia Gonzalez. He was a wonderful and loving uncle, cousin, and friend who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Jesus worked as a landscaper while working for Nava’s Nursery. His garden was full of different kinds of beautiful and colorful flowers. He was a quiet man with a strong spiritual faith. He had a love for nature and had a dry sense of humor. He was always ready to assist or help anyone in need. He really enjoyed feeding and playing with the stray cats and dogs that would show up at his house.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Julia Gonzales.

His extended family is left to cherish his memories.
