Jesus Pedro Esparza Sr.

Jesus "Jesse" Pedro Esparza, Sr. of Corpus Christi, TX was born on November 22, 1970 and passed away peacefully on July 29, 2021 at the age of 50.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Esperanza Esparza; father, Adolfo Zepeda; and uncle, Antonio.

Jesse is survived by six children, Jesse Esparza, Raquel Esparza, Roxanne (Jimmy) Esparza, Jesus (Alexis) Esparza, Jr., Antonio Esparza, and JoAnn Esparza; his best companion, his cat, Garfield; one sister, Lety (James) Elizalde; and the mother of his children, Angelic Esparza, whom he leaves behind to continue to love and care for their children.

Jesse was "Grandpa" to 17 grandkids and loved every single one of them. Grandpa especially appreciated all the extra love and time his oldest grandsons, Jaden Timothy Esparza and Jordan Rangel, Jr., spent with him and cared for him.

He leaves behind so many wonderful memories and so much love for everyone he ever knew.

"Dad we all love you so much and are so happy you are now at peace. One day we will meet again at the pearly gates. Until then, take care Daddy, we love you so much."

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, August 8, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm.  On Monday, August 9, 2021, at 10:00 AM a funeral liturgy will be held at Treviño Funeral Home, followed by interment at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
