Jesus M. Samaniego

Jesus M. Samaniego, age 72, went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2022. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 23, 1949.

Jesus graduated from Roy Miller Highschool in 1967. He went on to work as a rancher and a landscaping groundskeeper for many years.

Jesus was a kindhearted man, who was known for his loving and caring nature. He was the type of person to give you the shirt off his own back. He was also a jokester. His family recalls him making jokes out of everything. Jesus will be remembered as the funniest person around with a contagious and gregarious laugh. In his spare time, he loved to dance, listen to music, and watch different sports; specifically, the Dallas Cowboys. He is gone but will never be forgotten.

Jesus is preceded in passing by his father, Manuel Samaniego; his mother, Felicita Rubio; his sister, Juanita Collins; and his nephew, Jimmy F. Stone.

Jesus leaves his loving memories to his sisters, Maria Guadalupe Trahan and Theresa S. Carmona; his nieces and nephews, Christina (Jason) Butler, Elton (Kelli) Carmona, and Mary S. (Teyo) Carmona; as well as numerous great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
