Jimmy Lee Nelson, Jr.

Jimmy Lee Nelson, Jr., age 39, passed away on July 31, 2015. He was born in Corpus Christi, TX on January 25, 1976. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He graduated from Mary Carroll High School; and worked at Allied Barton Security, then later at Amtex Security at the Port Authority. Jimmy loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan. He is preceded in death by his mother, Connie Nelson; paternal grandparents, Robert and Gladys Nelson; maternal grandparents, Samuel and Johnnie Armstrong; and niece, Connie Laine Nelson. He leaves behind his loving father, Jimmy L. Nelson, Sr.; brothers, Jeffrey and Jonathan; nieces, Vivian and Alexis; nephews, Jeffery, Jr. and JaMarcus; 3 aunts, 3 uncles; and a host of relatives and friends whose lives he touched. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port. A funeral chapel service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home; burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
