Joann Oliva

Joann Oliva, 53, passed away February 6, 2022, in Corpus Christi, Texas.  She was born in Corpus Christi to Alonzo and Maria Sanchez.

Joann will always be remembered for her love of a good cup of coffee and her devotion to her grandchildren and her family.

Joann is preceded in death by her brother, Alonzo Sanchez.

Left to cherish Joann’s memory are her sons, Jose Oliva and Trinidad Rayos; daughter, Daniela Oliva; grandchildren, Nevaeh Oliva, Nalani Oliva, Jose Oliva, Aaydan Rayos, Nillyanna Oliva, and Cavalier Rayos; sisters, Sandra Sanchez-Diago, Stephanie Sanchez, and Debra Rivas; and brothers, Steven Sanchez and Roger Sanchez.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 9 AM – 12:30 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 11 AM followed by Liturgy of the Word at 11:30 AM.  A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:30 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Seaside Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending services at this facility.
