Joaquin Manrique

Joaquin Manrique passed away in San Antonio, TX on February 13, 2021 at the age of 82. He was born, and raised, in Alice, TX to Anselmo Manrique and Paula Mata on August 16, 1938.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Alfredo Manrique.

He is survived by his family, daughter, Melba Smith (Ricky); son, David Manrique; four grandchildren, Seth Manrique (Dina), Maddy Smith Chavez (Josh), Allegra Manrique, and Audrey Smith; and four great-grandchildren, Marques, Mila, Lola, and Hunter.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home Alice, 120 E. Front St.; with a rosary to be recited at 2:00 PM. Liturgy of the Word will then follow at 2:30 PM with services concluding with Interment and Rite of Committal at Roberson Collins Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
