Joe David Perez

Joe David Perez, (David) also known as “Old School” of Corpus Christi TX, returned to his heavenly home September 25, 2017.

David was born in Corpus Christi, TX to Martha Mancha December 26, 1957.

David enjoyed, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was the life of the party and could share laughter with everyone.

David is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Mancha and Guadalupe Mancha and sister, Cynthia Herrera. He is survived by his bothers Guadalupe (Cherylynn) Mancha Jr. of Houston, Urbano (Alicia) Mancha of Corpus Christi, his sisters Dorothy (Dan) Bacalis of Galveston, Sylvia Mancha (George Rinche) of Rockport, Priscilla Cortina of Houston, and Janie Escamilla of Houston. He was blessed to be the uncle of 17 nieces and nephews, multiple great nieces and nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. Corpus Christi, TX 78405 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. Corpus Christi, TX 78415 at 11:00 am.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Transition Hospice; Christi Ray (RN) was so sensitive, compassionate, and assisted in making the life transition so peaceful for David and the family.
