Joe Ruben Trevino, Jr.

Joe Ruben Treviño Jr., a man whose warmth and kindness touched everyone he met, passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on June 14, 1965, Joe lived a life that exemplified love, family, and joy. He was a beacon of light in the lives of many, always ready to share a laugh or lend a helping hand. His presence was a gift, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him.

Joe is preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Joe Andrew "Sumo" Treviño, who surely awaits him with open arms. He leaves behind an adoring family: his parents, Joe Treviño Sr. and Maria Treviño; his cherished children, Carolyn Treviño, Angel Treviño, Stephanie Ortiz, and Lyria Hernandez; his loving siblings, Joann Treviño, Maryann Treviño, Nancy Treviño, Lee Treviño, and Michael Treviño; and his adored grandchildren, Jayden Treviño, Camila Treviño, AJ Treviño, Maya Fernandez, and Jasmine Fernandez. Joe also leaves behind his dear girlfriend, Dolores Dominguez, with whom he shared many treasured moments.

Joe's passion for cooking was well known among his family and friends. His kitchen was a place of warmth and laughter, where he loved to share his delicious creations. Sundays were reserved for cheering on his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns, and his enthusiasm for the games was contagious. Joe's presence during these moments turned ordinary gatherings into cherished memories. Above all, Joe's greatest joy was the time he spent with his family. He was the heart and soul of family gatherings, bringing everyone together with his jovial spirit and ensuring each moment was filled with love and happiness. His ability to light up a room with his presence made him the life of the party, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

As we bid farewell to Joe, we celebrate a life beautifully lived. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and guide us. Though he may be gone, the memories he created will be cherished forever by his family, friends, and all who were privileged to know him.
