Joel Alonzo

Joel Jr., age 71 passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012. He joins in heaven his wife, Maria Trinidad Alonzo. Joel leaves behind his loving son, Joel (Bobbie) Alonzo III; daughters, Rose (Rafael) Cardeñas, Cynthia (Juan) Villarreal, Araceli (Pete) Banda, Martha (Ernest) Everett, Mary (Luis) Perez, and Irene (Charlie) Saenz; 32 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren; and numerous sisters and brothers. He will be dearly missed. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at Ss Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012; burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
