Jose Bocanegra, Jr.

Jose Bocanegra, Jr. passed away on November 8, 2018 at the age of 74. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and riding his motorcycle; he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Jose proudly served in the military as a U.S. Marine rifleman. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose V. and Beatrice Bocanegra.

Jose is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Maria Bocanegra; daughters, Patsy (Jason) Andrews and Joann (Marc) Dickenson; 6 grandchildren; and numerous cousins and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; Military honors will take place at 6:00 PM, with a Holy Rosary and Liturgy of the Word to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude that evening.
