Jose Edgardo Fernandez

Jose Edgardo Fernandez went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2018 at the age of 71. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 4, 1946, to Nicolas and Guadalupe Fernandez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Guadalupe Fernandez; in-laws, Alberto and Susie Medal.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Guadalupe M. Fernandez; children, Anthony E. (Shirley) Fernandez, Joseph F. Fernandez, Mary Elizabeth Fernandez, and Albert N. (Laura) Fernandez; grandchildren, Shelley Rose Fernandez, Araceli Eliana Fernandez, and Jake Edwards; siblings, Elsa (Willie) Guajardo, Edna (Erasmo) Gonzales, and Nick Fernandez.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery.
