Jose Angel Garcia

Jose Angel Garcia passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the age of 67. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He will be deeply missed by all whom knew him and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Narciso and Aurora Garcia.

Jose Angel is survived by his wife, Elva R. Garcia; daughters, Michelle (Nico) Jimenez, Melissa Garcia, Melinda Garcia, and Lupita (Luis) Rios; sons, Jose Angel (Michelle) Garcia and Jesse (Crystal) Garcia; step-daughter, Velma (Paul) Talemantez and Cristina (Mauricio) Leal; step-son, Javier (Valerie) Valderrama; sister, Susie Lopez; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, July 23, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral cortege will depart the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. to Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
