Jose Maria Garcia, Jr.

Jose Maria Garcia, Jr. passed away on February 15, 2018 at the age of 72. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by those who knew him and loved him.

He was prececeded in death by his parents, Jose Maria Garcia, Sr. and Viola Maria Garcia; brothers, Ernest Garcia, Rolando Garcia; sisters, Alicia Valenzuela, Ester Villarreal, Graciela Esquivel; father-in-law, Juan H. Medina.

Jose is survived by his wife of 48 years, Norma Medina Garcia; son, Jose M. Garcia, III. (Theresa); daughters, Julie Ann Garcia (Horacio Cortina), Joann Garcia; mother-in-law, Benina S. Medina; grandchildren, Angel Rodriguez, Jr., Joe Angel Rodriguez, Joel T. Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, Amber Nicole Rodriguez (Jaime Sosa Garcia), Julia Benina Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Miabella Rodriguez, Katalyna Rodriguez, Jazmine Rosa Garcia, Lillyanna Rodriguez; siblings, Jesse Garcia (Diana), Adolfo Garcia (Gilda), Hector Garcia, Rose Mary Garcia, and Yolanda Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port; where a prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
