Jose Florencio Garza

Jose Florencio Garza Sr, age 58, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022.  Jose was born on October 16, 1964, to his father, Domingo Garza, and his mother, Maria Ramona Reyes. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Jose was a family man whose main goal was to provide for the needs of his family. He always wanted what was best for his children and would go beyond the call of duty to assist and help them with whatever they needed. He especially loved spending time outdoors and with his family and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents, Domingo Garza, and Maria Ramona Reyes, and his two brothers, Juan Garza, and Oscar Garza.

Jose is survived by his wife, Rosita Galindo Garza; daughter, Teresa Garza (Marcus Rocha); two sons, Jose Florencio Garza Jr and Gabriel Garza; two sisters, Cecilia Ramirez (Robert) and Josie Maldonado; two brothers, Domingo V. Garza Jr (Grace) and Jesus Erasmo Garza; three grandchildren, Marcus Garza, Miguel Rocha, and Camela Rocha; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Trevino Funeral Home Alice, 120 E Front St, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that evening. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 1:00 PM for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 1:30 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Roberson-Collins Cemetery.
