Jose Humberto Hernandez

Jose Humberto Hernandez passed away on June 11, 2020 at the age of 76.  He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, step-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.    He will be missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Magdalena Hernandez; and brother, Fernando Ruben Hernandez.

Jose is survived by his wife, Mary Hernandez; children, Oneida Hernandez and Fernando Ruben Hernandez; step-children, Richard Garcia and Lori N. Aguirre; four grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; siblings, Reymundo (Helen) Hernandez, Miguel Hernandez, Edmundo (Elsa) Hernandez, and Eva Hernandez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 to 9:00 on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home; with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm.  On Friday, June 19, 2020, a funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 10:30 am to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
