Jose Agustin Hinojosa

Jose Agustin Hinojosa passed away on March 30, 2018 at the age of 71. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. Jose proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jody Garcia Hinojosa; parents, Reynaldo and Eliza Hinojsa.

Jose is survived by his wife, Carmen H. Hinojosa; sons, Benito (Monica) Hinojosa, 1st Sgt. John (Megan) Tamez, and Richard (Debbie) Tamez; sisters, Esperanza (Robert) Perez and DeeDee (Ray) Krebs; brothers, Reynaldo (Patty) Hinojosa, Jr., George (Oralia) Hinojosa, and Oscar Hinojosa; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, with a holy rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. A chapel Service will take place on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at Trevino Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
