Jose Luis Mendez, age 53, passed away on July 22, 2014. He was a Black Belt in Karate, he loved music, and playing his guitar. He will be dearly missed. Jose Luis leaves behind his father, Ramon Mendez; mother, Maria (Timoteo) Rodriguez; companion, Rosemary Ramos; children, Paul Joseph Mendez, Jasmine Ramos, Justin Ramos, Cody Ramos; sisters, Juanita (Ruben) Leos, Consuelo (Manuel) Valencia, Jesusita Pena, Alicia (Raul) Hernandez, Esmeralda (Roberto) Arispe, Aurora (Felipe) Valencia, Hermina Perez, Geraldine (Adrian) Salomon, Martha (Teodoro) Gonzalez, Raquel (Guadalupe) Salas; brothers, Carlos Enrique (Anna) Mendez, Martin Lee (Flor) Mendez, Alfredo (Raquel) Mendez; grandchildren, Ariana, Cerek, Ivan; Pall Bearers, Carlos Enrique, Martin, Freddy, Paul Joseph, Justin, Cody. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 3 pm to 9 pm; with a Prayer Service to be held at 7pm that same evening. A funeral chapel service will held at Trevino Funeral Home on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 10 am; burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
