Jose Isauro Munguia

Jose I. Munguia passed away August 9, 2017 at the age of 69. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christofaro and Casilda Munguia. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Hortencia Munguia; his children, Cynthia Torres (Samuel, Jr.), Sandra Rodriguez (Israel), Joanna Canales (Jesus) and Elsa Munguia (Eduardo Mendoza); grandchildren, Alexander James Holdforth, Jr., Gabriela Nicholle Holdforth, Sarah Ann Rodriguez, and Elizabeth Marie Rodriguez; siblings, Soila Romero, Jesus Munguia, Abdon Munguia, Gilberto Munguia, Alberto Munguia, and Nora Aleman; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to specially thank the Palms Nursing Home staff and the Altus Hospice staff for the love and care they provided for their loved one in his time of need. The family will receive condolences from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port; where a Talk will be held at 7:00 pm.
