Jose Rosas

Jose (Joe, Chito) Rosas, 77, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 7, 1947, in Hughes, Arkansas.

Joe was a devoted partner to Anna. He is lovingly remembered by siblings, Estela Rosas and Ruben Rosas. Joe was a loving and supportive father to his daughters, Ludivina Garcia (Anthony), Norma Rivera (Paul), and Iris Jackson (Kevin); along with seven grandchildren, Allyson Ramirez, Joseph Rodewald, Jarrid Garia (Kendra), Marissa Rivera, Glory Rodewald, Serena Rodewald, and KaLani Jackson; and three great-grandchildren, Gabriella Ramirez, Samantha Martinez, and Jax Allen Sladkey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Antonio Rosas and Josephina Rosas, and siblings, Belia Paramo, Miguel Rosas, and David Rosas.

Joe enjoyed spending time with family, playing games, and working on cars. He liked old school cars, listening to Tejano music, and telling the same old dad jokes.

Joe was compassionate and always there for his family, ready to offer a helping hand. His laughter and strength will be deeply missed but remembered by those he leaves behind. He will be forever in our hearts.
