Jose Ramos Salazar, Jr.

Jose Ramos Salazar, Jr., age 84, went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2022. He was born in Sinton, Texas on April 6, 1938.

Jose is preceded in death by his father, Jose Salazar; mother, Isabel Ramos; and stepdad, Carlos Rodriguez.

Jose leaves his loving memories to the mother of his children, Hermelinda G. Salazar; children, Jose G. Salazar, George G. Salazar (Delia M.), Esmeralda Salazar Potts (Roger), Mary Yolanda Chapman, Arthur Salazar, Gilbert Ray Salazar (Tiffany R. Hubert-Salazar), Arnold Salazar, Belinda De Leon (Baltazar De Leon), Trinidad Bernadino Salazar (Sheila); sister, Eugenia Salazar and her daughter, Lucy Jaimes (Edward); sister, Isabel Andrea Trevino (Robert) and her daughters, Sylvia Haynes (David) and Velma Sylvia (Jacob), and her son Robert Trevino, Jr.; and 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, July 3, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that evening.
