Jose Manuel Soliz

Jose Manuel Soliz passed away on October 17, 2021 at the age of 71. He proudly served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. Jose was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend that will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Maria Soliz; brother, Jose Maria Soliz; sisters, Christina Soliz Garcia and Lucia Soliz Adame.

Jose is survived by his daughter, Sandra Lee Caro (Jaime); sisters, Irene Perez, Delia Soliz, and Gloria Guartuche (Gilbert); grandsons, Jaime Caro (Victoria), Steven Lee Caro, and Joseph Caro; great-grandchildren, Miah, Cash, Chloe, Emma, Jett, Alayna, and Logan Gray; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. Visitation will continue on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM at Treviño Funeral Home and services will conclude with Rite of Committal and Interment with full military honors at 9:00 AM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
