Jose Villanueva

Jose Villanueva passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 81. He was born in 1939 in Tulsita, Texas. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend.  Jose was a veteran of the US Navy.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Villanueva; father, Romulo Gonzales; and mother, Juana Gonzales.

Jose is survived by his daughters, Sandra Morales, Laura Villanueva, Nancy Villanueva, and Jackie Villanueva Penaflor; brothers, Donato Gonzales, and Tiofilo Gonzales; sister, San Juanita Torres; and numerous grandkids, nieces, nephews and extended family.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St.@ Port.  A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 10:30 AM to Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery where Jose will be laid to rest with full Military Honors.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
