Josefa O. Gonzalez

Josefa O. Gonzalez, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 06, 2012. She joins in heaven, her son, Benito Gonzalez Jr.; parents, Julio and Luciana Ocaña; sister, Maria Resendez; and brothers, Guadalupe Ocaña, and Manuel Ocaña. Josefa leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years Benito G. Gonzalez; children, Alicia (Jose) Felan, Ester Ruiz, Joe Gonzalez, Diana (Jimmy) Jimenez, Arturo Gonzalez, Angelica Gonzalez; sister, Julia (Edward) Luna; 43 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1-great-great grandson. The family would like to give a special thank you for all the prayers and for the caring staff at Harbor Hospice who took care of her during her final days, especially Karen and Lou. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:00 pm. A funeral chapel service will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 10:00 am; burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
