Joseph D. Mccurry

Joseph D. McCurry passed away on August 21, 2021 at the age of 22. He will be missed dearly by all his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandma, Naomi Holt.

Joseph is survived by his parents, Sandra and Jerry McCurry; sisters,

Bryinna Waddle, Haylee McCurry, and Robin Brock; brothers, Cory Brock, Nicholas Young, and Brett Bell; nieces, Aubreigh Mae Young and

Raeleigh Rena Brock; grandparents, Stanley and Michelle Waddle and Kathy and Benny Gardner; aunts, Brandy Waddle, Eva Gomez, Dianna Waddle, and Mayanna Meltz; uncles, Stan Waddle, Monroe Gardner Jr, and Troy Gardner; and many, many cousins.

He is also survived by his fiancé, Brittany Ortega, and her family: grandmothers, Vikki Lea Loner and Francis Ortega; mother, Dee Dee Marie Ortega; father, Robert Lee Ortega; sister, Tiffanee Pilar Fuentes; nephew, Anthony Jordan Pike; brother, Brandon Lee Ortega and his wife, Sandra Maribel Ortega; nieces, Serenity’Marie LeeAnne Ortega, Selena’Rosa LeeAnne Ortega, and Serena LeeAnne Ortega; and  many other relatives and friends.

Joseph’s services will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, beginning with visitation from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave. A Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 PM; services will conclude in the chapel that evening.
