Josiah Christian Cantu

Josiah Christian Cantu, age 18, passed away on March 20, 2016. He was a 2015 graduate of Carroll High School. He was a caring and loving son, brother, grandson,cousin,and friend that will be deeply missed. He enjoyed playing basketball, skateboarding, playing video games, and spending time with his family. He had such a huge heart, along with a huge smile that would light up any room. He was always willing to go out of his way to help others and will forever live in the hearts of those he touched. Until we meet again, let the fond memories bring brighter days to all who loved him. Rest In Peace Our Beloved Son, Josiah. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his father, Santiago David (Michelle) Cantu III, and mother,Marina (Rick) Garcia, brothers: David IV, Fabian and Cristian; sisters: Victoriah, Myriah, Nyleiah, Savannah, and Caitlin; paternal grandparents, Santiago David (Cindy) Cantu Jr., maternal grandparents, Victor (Celinda) Martinez, aunts and uncle: Gloria, Adrianna, and Stephen Martinez, and numerous cousins. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port on Saturday, March 26, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will be a dove release following the service. The family would like to thank the ICU Doctors and staff at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital for their care, effort, and commitment in attending to our beloved Josiah.
