Josie Orman

Josie Orman, age 86, passed away on October 2, 2012. She loved fishing, gardening and being outdoors. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be dearly missed. Josie joins in heaven her husband of 34 years, William W. Orman; parents, Francisco and San Juanita Ramirez; son, Armando Salinas; daughter, Esperanza Salinas; and former husband, Isaac G. De La Garza. She leaves behind her loving children, Kathy De La Garza, June Corzine, Lynn Love, Mary Jean (Thomas) Arangua, Isaac (Linda) De La Garza, Aaron (Cynthia) De La Garza, Alfred (Gloria) De La Garza, John De La Garza, Rene De La Garza, Boni (Ofelia) De La Garza; 30 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Judith Piner and staff at Angel Bright Hospice care for their compassionate care during her final days. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral chapel service to be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 9:30 am; interment to follow at Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery.
