Jovita Garcia

Jovita (Hobie) Garcia, born August 31,1953 in Corpus Christi, TX., and began her new journey with the lord, the morning of June 20th, 2017. She was surrounded by family at her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernardina and Martin Garcia.

Jovita is survived by her children, Kristina Cuellar (Robert) Kueber, Jeanina Garcia, Rodney Garcia, and Robert (Chris Barrera) Garcia; siblings, Laura (Juan) Ortiz, Martin (Thelma) Garcia, and Paul (Sylvia) Garcia;12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; an aunt, cousin and dear friend to many. Her legacy will live on through the hearts of many she has touched, throughout her compassionate and outgoing life.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, July 7, 2017, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port, from 5 to 9 in the evening; where a Memorial Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
