Jovita T (Torres) Garcia

Jovita T. Garcia passed away on September 11, 2020 at the age of 90. She will be missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Carmen Torres; husband, Rufino Garcia; grandson, Arrow Garcia; sisters, Carrie Aguirre and Ofelia Guzman; and brother, Trinidad Torres.

Jovita is survived by her son, Richard Garcia; grandson, Acea Carol (Jennifer) Garcia; great- grandsons, Rufino Acea Carol and Jacob Carol Garcia; siblings, Lupita Gutierrez, Virginia (Joe) Martinez, and Sylvia (Luis) Torres; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, September 17, 2020, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St; with a chapel service to begin at 12:00 pm.  Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
