Juan De Los Santos, a cherished soul known for his boundless generosity and spirited nature, passed away on December 1, 2024, in Alice, Texas. Born on January 4, 1989, in Hereford, Texas, Juan's life was a testament to the joy and love he brought into the lives of those around him. His laughter and kind-hearted spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Juan was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Julian Aguayo Sr..
Left to cherish Juan’s memories are his beloved wife, Yvette Marie Aguayo; his daughters, Oliviah Marie De Los Santos, Aaliyah Faith Escobedo, and Mariah Hope Escobedo; his grandchild, Alijah Parker; father, Juan De Los Santos; mother, Rosa Delgado; brothers, Secundino Ovalle, Robert Anthony Ovalle, and Joe Angel Delgado; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Aguayo, Cynthia Aguayo, and Yvonne Aguayo; brothers-in-law, Julian (Elizabeth) Aguayo Jr., and Victor (Petra) Aguayo; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close. Professionally, Juan was a respected and dedicated employee at Wright Materials Inc. Company where he started working with his father-in-law in early 2000. His commitment to his work was unparalleled, and he was known to be punctual and prepared, regardless of the circumstances. Juan's work ethic was driven by his deep desire to provide for his family, ensuring they never wanted for anything. His colleagues will remember him as a man who was always willing to lend a hand, whether it was through his time, talents, or treasures. Juan's interests and hobbies painted the picture of a man who cherished life's simplest pleasures. He relished the times spent barbecuing and listening to his favorite music, which spanned from oldies to rock. Juan's sense of humor was infectious; he loved to joke and laugh, always inviting others by saying, “Let’s chill”. He remained young at heart, enjoying video games, fishing, and cozy movie nights at home accompanied by his favorite snacks. His family was the center of his universe, his pride, and his joy. Juan expressed his love in countless ways, from sending roses to his wife to picking out thoughtful gifts for his daughters. He was always there for them, attentive to their every need. Juan eagerly anticipated gatherings with family and friends, where he could spread his love, laughter, and happiness. Juan will be remembered as a generous and selfless individual whose spirit touched the lives of many. The memories he created will continue to inspire and comfort those who loved him. Juan’s family will receive condolence on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Trevino Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by Rite of Committal and Interment at Roberson-Collins Cemetery.
Honoring Juan as pallbearers are Robert Anthony Ovalle, Joe Angel Delgado, Roman Santos, Raymond Delgado, Victor Aguayo, Secundino Ovalle, Gabriel Morales, and Raymond Baiza.
