Juan G. Garcia

Juan Garcia, born on September 1, 1953, in Montemorelos, Mexico, NL, passed away on November 24, 2024, in Corpus Christi, TX, surrounded by the love of his family. Juan's journey through life was marked by an unwavering commitment to his family, a passion for sports, and the joy he found in music and dance.

Juan's life was one of dedication and love. He shared a beautiful marriage with his wife, Maria S. Garcia, who along with their children, Ludivina (Joseph), Diana, Juan III (Jennifer), and Victor Garcia, stood by him as pillars of support and love. Juan's legacy continues through his nine cherished grandchildren, Victor Mata III, Alexis Nicole Mata, Acesoph Tru Villarreal, Johnny Angel Olivarez, Marissa Leighan Garcia, Anayeli Isabella Garcia, Jenesis Abigail Olivarez, and Jordan Anthony Olivarez. He was a beloved brother to Maria Cantu, Angelica Presas, Rosa Garcia, Gloria Garcia, Rodrigo Garcia, and Guadalupe Garcia. Each sibling shared a unique bond with Juan, woven together by memories and the values instilled in them by their parents, Juan Garcia Sr. and Aurora Gonzalez Tamez. Juan was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Irma Jasso, and his grandchild, Jordan Anthony Cano, who left this world too soon. Juan's zest for life was evident in his love for volleyball, dancing, baseball, and softball. His competitive spirit and enthusiasm on the court were contagious, bringing joy and excitement to all who played with him or cheered him on from the sidelines. Off the field, his love for dancing was apparent to anyone who watched him glide across the dance floor with the same grace and rhythm that he brought to every aspect of his life. Juan's affectionate nature extended to his pet dog, Roscoe, who was a constant companion and source of comfort. Their bond was a testament to Juan's capacity for love, which knew no bounds and extended to all living creatures. In his professional life, Juan was known for his strong work ethic and integrity. He approached every task with a sense of responsibility and pride, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Juan's legacy in his community is one of kindness, generosity, and a willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. As we remember Juan Garcia, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and joy. We honor a man who cherished his family above all else and who found happiness in the simple pleasures of life.
