Juan R. Garcia, Jr.

Juan R. Garcia, Jr., passed away on November 8, 2016 at the age of 64. He was born on October 4, 1952 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Juan and Basilia Garcia. He retired from the City of Corpus Christi Parks and Rec Division after serving them loyally for 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Basilia Garcia.

Juan is survived by his wife, Amelia Silvas; sisters, Maria Luisa Garcia, Cleo (Israel) Garcia; brother, Porfirio Garcia; one niece and 2 nephews.

The family will be receiving family and friends on Thursday, November 10, 2016, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016, at 10:00 am at Treviño Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
