Juan Benito Saldaña III (Johnny) 38, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Monday July 20, 2020.

Juan was born March 17, 1982, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Elizabeth V. Moreno and Juan B. Saldaña Jr.  He married Esperanza Posas-Saldaña, who survives him.

Juan graduated from Foy H. Moody High School in 2001. He was currently employed by Towne & Country Café and The Black Diamond Oyster Bar. He was hardworking and dependable. He was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Astros, and of course WWE (wrestling). But above all, he was devoted to the Lord and was a Christian and a member of The Lord of The Harvest Church.

Juan is survived by his wife, Esperanza Posas-Saldaña of Corpus Christi, TX; daughters, Marissa M. Saldaña, Victoria A. Saldaña, and Jordynn J. Taylor, who he loved like a daughter; sons, Ryan A. Saldaña, and twin sons, Anthony R. Saldaña and Johnathon A. Saldaña; mother, Elizabeth V. Moreno of CC, TX; father, Juan Benito Saldaña Jr. (Priscilla) of SA, TX; paternal grandmother, Maria Irma Mancha of CC, TX; sisters, Mary Lillian Elizondo (Chris Elizondo) of SA, TX, Irma Linda Acosta (Sammy Acosta) of SA, TX, Lori Ann Perryman (Shawn Perryman) of SA, TX, and Hilda Saldaña of CC, TX, who he loved like a sister; brothers, Juan B. Saldaña “Johnny Boy” of CC, TX, Luis V. Moya Jr. (Amanda Moya) of CC, TX, Juan B. Saldaña “Juanito” (Samantha Saldaña) of SA, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Juan is preceded in death by his son, Juan Manuel Saldaña; and his maternal grandparents, Ricardo and Herminia Villanueva; his Paternal grandfather, Juan Benito Saldaña Sr.; and his cousin, Krystal Angel Moya; among other family members.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port Ave, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405; with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude that evening.

On behalf of Juan Benito Saldaña III and family, thank you to all the family members, friends, and organizations who came together during this difficult time. Thank you for your donations, your time, your calls, and your sympathy. Thank you all for keeping the family in your hearts and prayers.
