Juan V. Garcia was born June 28, 1947, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Raul and Consuelo Garcia. He passed away December 9, 2022, at the age of 75.

Juan proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He retired from South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind.

Juan was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Consuelo Garcia; brothers, Raul V. Garcia, Jr. and Moises V. Garcia; and son-in-law, Juan Carmona.

He is survived by his sister, Anita Gray (Larry); sister-in-law, Raquel Garcia; children, Samantha Garcia, Sara Loredo (Jorge), and Sabrina Garcia; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
